Coach Jerome Sherman

 

Jerome Sherman is the Associate Head Coach at Nation Wide Academy, an Oklahoma based post-graduate basketball prep academy.

 

Jerome Sherman started San Diego Magic, CA in 2004 with Coach Roy, where the coaches helped transition over 100 student athletes into collegiate institutions at all levels throughout our ten-year term working together with the San Diego Magic. 

 

In 2008, Jerome Sherman served as the Associate Head Coach and called the offense for the San Diego Caver's, alongside Coach Roy, winning the San Diego Section CIF.   In the same year, Coach Jerome Sherman served as the Assistant Coach at San Diego City College and led the team as far as the Elite 8 of the California State Playoffs for Junior College.

In 2009 Coach Jerome Sherman served as Associate Head Coach for the Mexicali Bomberos in the Ciba Copa Pro league in Mexico, holding 1st place prior to being named Head Coach of the Tijuana Zonkeys for the rest of the season.  

 

In 2010/11, Coach Jerome Sherman resumed coaching at San Diego Magic High School team and Middle School teams, as well as coaching Compton Magic Red as an Assistant Coach. 

 

In 2012, Coach Jerome Sherman’s 8th grade San Diego Magic/Compton Magic Blue team finished 10th in the Country.   In 2013, Coach Jerome Sherman’s 9th grade Compton Magic 2016s team finished 1st in the Country.
